About Me

Welcome to The ‘Power‘ of Brand You.

I know Brand You might appear jargon-laden and perhaps (wrongly) conjures up images of a celebrity identity, but it is nothing of the sort.

What does it mean?

“To become what we truly are.

Neitzsche

Whether you like it or not, you are a brand. Please take a moment to read the seminal article on the subject written by Tom Peters: The Brand Called You.

“Regardless of age, regardless of position, regardless of the business we happen to be in, all of us need to understand the importance of branding. We are CEOs of our own companies: Me Inc. To be in business today, our most important job is to be head marketer for the brand called You.”

Brand You, Me Inc. or the CEO of Me, helps you focus on leveraging your creative and intellectual capital, and to reach your full potential. Sometimes it just means focusing more on the things that inspire you, reaching out and being curious and having a road map to know that you can become the most of anything.

As a former lawyer (see my full profile on LinkedIn), I fully bought into the Brand You idea, having spent many years developing a successful professional practice by focusing on being the best I could be, associating with the right people and building a profitable team.

I work with solopreneurs, SMEs and professional service firms.

I offer:

Speaking - Brand You, Excellence, Social Media and Business Development

Training - Social Media – strategy and engagement, LinkedIn, Personal Branding, Networking, Business Development

Coaching - Winning and attracting new clients, the nuts and bolts of Social Media, blogging, making the most of your career, face to face networking and Excellence

Content creation - I work on ensuring that you create the most focused, dynamic and remarkable content for your target market

The ‘business’ focus is on professional services, innovative or creative businesses, and small teams in larger organizations that have the ability to make change happen.

You will find a significant amount of material captured on this site in over 600 blog posts (and growing daily).

If you’re new here and want to dive right in, the best place to start is the Blog topics on the Home page.

I also write on business development for the Solicitors Journal.

I am married to Allison and we have 3 amazing children. My passion outside of work is cycling.
