This means spending time understanding the culture and diversity of your business, and then working with you producing a template and action steps to integrate your on-line activity – current or expected – together with your existing off-line material.

As part of this service, we will agree the best or most appropriate platforms for you and your business so that risk is managed according to your business objectives.

The approach is to align your business goals with your social media strategy with a focus on building positive engagement and conversion into leads or brand development.

Social media audits

A consideration of your existing platforms, means of engagement and your content planning and syndication. An analysis of your competitor social outposts and content approach. It will also include a consideration of the best practices in design, socialisation, meaningful and results driven calls to action and content creation.

Content marketing plans

Often as part of the strategic consulting it is necessary to consider your content creation, delivery and syndication strategy. That normally throws into relief the need to create a focused communications calendar to dovetail your PR, events, product launches and service needs with a focused content creation and management programme. This will focus on blogging, sound, video and SEO optimised content.

Social media policy and governance development

As a former lawyer, I am able to either prepare a complete range of policy and governance documents or consider your existing material for its business efficacy. This covers blogging as well as the traditional social media platforms like Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook.

Social media staff training and best practices

I offer a range of training packages tailored to your organisation.

This covers the nuts and bolts (“How do I open a LinkedIn account and use it effectively”) to taking a more strategic, and focused approach to the pre-existing programme.

Social media training workshops

These can be as little as one hour all the way up to a two-day immersive looking at the major platforms, strategy, governance, engagement and content creation.

Excellence Consulting

In the article Structure is Not Organization Messrs. Waterman JR, Peters and Phillips set the scene for solving organizational problems with a framework which is known as the The 7-S Framework (now known as the McKinsey 7-S Framework).

This was followed by the seminal book In Search of Excellence by Tom Peters. Since then Tom Peters has gone on to create a huge volume of work promoting the cause of EXCELLENCE (he doesn’t demand it but I always think it looks better written in capitals).
